Story About the Royal Bengal Tiger of Bandhavgarh

If you are a lover of wildlife activities, explore your experience with different types of animals, especially royal Bengal tigers, at Bandhavgarh National Park for those who love them because the royal Bengal tigers are not just an animal; they are a national animal, or the soul of Indian wilderness. And you, this wilderness in Bandhavgarh, is a land of tigers. Bandhavgarh is a land that is ruled by the royal kingdoms; that is one reason we call it a royal Bengal tiger. Usually, tourists come here to see the royal Bengal tiger. But the place looks like it is now; at one time it was just a dense forest. No one is allowed inside the forest when kingdoms rule here; only their family or relatives are allowed inside the forest.

 Royal Bengal Tiger Famous

Bandhavgarh National Park is the land of the royal Bengal tiger. The royal Bengal tiger population is enough. According to the area in Bandhavgarh National Park, that’s a main reason for more chances to see tiger sightings. The white tiger MOHAN was founded by Rewa’s last kingdom, and it’s a land of his; this place is also famous for that. This place is also famous for the story of legendary tigers like Charger, Sita, B2, and PUJARI, who died on the morning of 11 May 2026. BBC and National Geographic are making a documentary on his life, and even today people come to see his descendants.

History of Royal Bengal Tiger: -

Before 1968, in 1617, this place was a private game reserve area when the Rewa maharajas lived or ruled here. 12th Century - 1617: Bandhavgarh Fort was the headquarters (seat of power) of the Chandela and Baghel kings. Until then, it was a fort, and its surroundings were dense forests. 1617: When Maharaja Vikramaditya Singh shifted his capital from Bandhavgarh to Rewa, the entire area began to become deserted. This resulted in an increase in wildlife and tiger populations. 1918 - 1935: The entire forest became the Maharaja of Rewa's private hunting reserve. Only the royal family and their guests were allowed to hunt tigers there. 1951: Maharaja Martand Singh caught the first white tiger (MOHAN) in this forest, after which this place became famous on the world map. 1956: After the formation of the Madhya Pradesh state, the government realized that without any law these forests would be destroyed as hunting and tree cutting were increasing.

How to save Royal Bengal Tiger: -

“The tiger is not just an animal, but the balance of the entire ecosystem. If the tiger survives, the forest will survive, and if the forest survives, we will have clean air and water”.

The Royal Bengal Tiger is the pride of Bandhavgarh National Park. As we saw that when the kings ruled here, they used to hunt and shoot as per their own wish and no one stopped them, but when Madhya Pradesh became a state in 1956, the government declared Bandhavgarh as a national park in the memory of White Tiger Mohan to save the tigers so that people could come to see them in large numbers, but even after becoming a national park, the tigers were not saved here, trees started being cut in an illegal manner and secretly, tigers are very important for our ecosystem. There are many areas in Bandhavgarh National Park where the chances of seeing tigers are very high. The Royal Bengal Tiger is the main attraction point of Bandhavgarh, which makes the wildlife adventure of tourists and their photography also interesting. Even when the tiger feels that its photo is being taken by the tourists or people are happy to see it, if it is spotted on the banks of a tiger river, it does not get scared or irritated at all and it fascinates the people even more with its gait. Despite so much security in the forest, tigers are smuggled secretly, and animals are slaughtered. If Bandhavgarh is the land of tigers then their stay is very important.

For this, the number of employees of the forest department should be increased; it would be right to put up posters at various places, if there is theft or someone is harming the tigers, then action should be taken against him.
